How Vriddhix handles compliance

Plain statement: Vriddhix Quant Technologies is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser, research analyst, stock broker or in any other capacity — and is not required to be for the backtesting and research service it provides, because it never gives investment advice or executes trades. References to SEBI regulations on this site describe how we design our product. They do not mean that SEBI has reviewed, approved or endorsed Vriddhix.

Disclaimers on every result

Every backtest result is gated behind a mandatory disclaimer that must be acknowledged before any figure is shown — enforced server-side, so it cannot be skipped by the interface or by calling the API directly.

No investment advice — enforced by software

Result explanations are scanned against a list of roughly 30 prohibited advice-style phrases — anything that recommends a trade or promises an outcome — before they reach you. If the scan fails, the prose is suppressed and you receive only the engine’s raw numbers with the standard disclaimer.

Numbers come from the engine, never the AI

Four independent technical controls (our “Quad-Lock”) make it structurally impossible for the AI to generate, estimate or round a result figure. Every number is computed by a deterministic simulation engine and cross-checked before display.

Immutable audit trail

Compliance-relevant events (backtests, disclaimers, blocks) are written to an append-only, hash-chained audit log retained for 8 years, with a tamper-evident archive in write-once storage.

Data stays in India

All infrastructure runs in Indian regions, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. See the Privacy Policy for details, including what is (and is never) sent to our AI provider.

Honest results by default

Results are always shown net of brokerage, STT (including the higher exercised-ITM branch), exchange transaction charges, SEBI fees, GST and stamp duty. Fills are conservative by default. We would rather show you an uncomfortable number than a flattering one.
